As the telegram channel VChK-OGPU learned, the former vice-governor of the Ryazan region, who is still in pre-trial detention, Igor Grekov openly answers investigators ’ questions about budget theft, his successor Artem Branov trying to get used to the role of vice-governor. But not very successfully.
On March 18, 2024, in Moscow, traffic police officers stopped a Toyota Camry with a flashing light. During the document check, it was established that there was no permission to use flashing lights, and the car had false license plates. The car was used by the current vice-governor of the Ryazan region, Artem Branov.
The decision on the issue of not bringing Branov to justice was personally handled by the head of the Russian State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Mikhail Chernikov.
Branov apparently forgot that he left his “native” Ryazan region, where this practice was put on stream in the government garage under the leadership of his friend Maxim Trukin. He brought Turkin with him from the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Office for the Operation of Buildings of the Federal State Statistics Service. Turkin oversees one of Branov’s business areas for the resale of cars and spare parts.
